I think Herman (possibly Bud's father) will let Bud stay with him, because he seems like a good guy who would take care of him. I don't think Bud will run away again, because I think he finally sees how dangereous it can be at night. Knowing Bud, he will ask to play the "giant fiddle" more than once.
